Third day in Prague

Botanical garden on the way to Prague castle.
St Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle

There are 27 people on this Rick Steves tour through central Europe. We spent the morning touring Prague castle which is an enormous walled city containing a church that has its initial foundation started in the year 1110AD.

The beautiful stained glass window are less than 200 years old. The original windows were destroyed in the Napoleonic wars.
Our guide through Prague castle and though the old city of Prague the previous night was Theresa.

The presidential palace is attached to Prague Castle. We stayed to watch the changing of the guard, which occurs at 12:00 every day. It is not near as impressive as the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.
